If you rebuild you REBUILD and that means NEW CAM BEARINGS and have the Crank CHECKED for ware and reground if needed and SHIMMING of pressure relief springs is NOT a way of fixing a problem . And before you lube up the breaings and stuff pistons and rods to it myself i will install the crank and mains and PLASTA GAUGE and check FIRST for proper clearance and if that checks out then we start . JUST because it had STD bearings in it when you tore it down does NOT mean that your good to go with STD bearings this time.
