The Guy Fey Book on Letter series Farmalls is accepted as authoritative. The tractor was painted red after being put together. The distributor cap and wires, the steering wheel, the amp gauge and fuse holder, and axles were covered. The radiator was originally black, and some over spray of red got on the sides and fins. Belts and hoses were just painted with no effort to mask them. Jim
