Head on an H

I have a 1940 "H" ser# 15766.
I would like to know if the head of any other
"H" would fit it. I want to overhaul it some day,
but would like to do it a little at a time. Like
get a spare head ,do it and then later do the rest of the engine as time and money permits.
The head has never been off the old girl,but, she's putting gas in the oil through the worn rings. Still runs like a charm.
