It is very likely that your tractor came with 10-36's (11.2 cross section) on a 9 or preferably 10 inch rim. Someone put 12.4's (11 inch tread width) on because they thought it looked better and would give more traction. It did neither, so put your 11.2's on. To be certain about the rim measure it with the tires off-inside the two rim lips. 11.2's are ok on a 9 inch rim, but 10 inch fits the tires better. If it happens to have 11 inch rims the 11.2's will be ok anyway.
