Gene, I picked up the lift lever that mounts on the right side of the floor board. I also have the depth lever that mounts on the side of the trans tunnel. No gauge wheel. I realize the depth is controlled by the angle of the point and not the lift lever. Back a few years ago,(quite a few), we used to plow with a walking plow behing a team of mules and you had to learn how to set the plow up so not to work yourself to death. After a while we could plow this heavy clay with just one hand after we learned not to fight the plow. The rod that goes under the seat to the plow should not put downward pressure on the plow is how I see the lay-out in the manual and should be free to float with the beam. My rod is frozen solid and I just needed confirmation that it should be free to float.
