About 32 deg here most of the day so I cranked up the 460 to see if it would now start in the cold, success! If your gas tractor starts tough at low temps check the timing at low throttel, to much advance will mean the spark fires before the compresed air/fuel can burn and cranking it will just get the plugs wet. Mine is now at 5 deg at low idle and I may set it back to tdc and see if that helps even more. It has rained or been cold here since I asked about IH 550 plows so that hasn't progressed yet, thank you to all that posted back on that. Think safety so that you can enjoy those Farmalls for a long time. kev
