Here is the update on the wiring for the late model IH-140 with factory alternator. I hand sketched this up and then scanned it, so I hope it can be read. This shows the head lights, turn signal, flasher, tail light and work light connections for IH 140 tractors SN 62472 and up as I figured it out on my tractor. This is 140 tractors with the Factory alternator. I changed the terminal connections from the way I found them because on the light switch terminals B and E are connected when the switch is in the off position. This means that in the original hookup I found that a separate switch would be needed to turn off the work light, so that the off was not really off. So I changed the power in from terminal E to A and the headlights from A to E. Also the new switch I got Terminal D and F are connected in positions 2, 3 and 4 on the switch which means there is not a position except off on the switch where the flashers are not on. So I added a toggle switch so that the flashers could be turned off when other lights are on if desired. HOpe this helps some folks.

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
