I bet you have your carb set to rich. My H wouldent run for the life of it. It would miss and even blew a chunk out of the manifold. Most farmalls or any old tractor was based on a karoseen runner and gas is alot more powerful. Even with the carb set down it will still burn rich. make sure the air intake screw is two turns out and the gas no more than 1 and a half out.It will run better that way also. mags are not as hot as distributers so if you intend on keeping the mag then you need a smaller gap.or you can add a car coil to the mag. autolite 386 is a good plug for all purposes.
