I'm not quite sure which rubber bushing you are talking about, but if it is the pair that are closest to your knees when seated on an H or M--- in front of the seat pan--- then I might be able to save you some money. I rebuilt the Monroe seats on an H and an M about 5 years ago, and at that time I went to the local auto parts store and happened to find that they have automotive shock absorber/chassis bushings in their "Help!" section that were one fifth of the price of the same bushing from CIH.
The "Help" stuff is a company that reproduces various breakable parts that are usually not carried by the regular parts counter--- things like interior door handles and window cranks to weird hardware commonly used on cars and trucks. I bought and used those shock bushings in the Monroe seats, and they have held up well. They were an exact fit for the tapered rubber bushings.
