Gene...I didn't mean to maligne the pneumatic lift, because I know they worked when they were new. They can still work as you have proven. By commercial failure, I mean that they never captured any sort of market share that the hydraulics units captured. By engineering failure I mean that the units simply technically inferior to hydraulics. If they were succesful in either way, the system would probably still be in use today.
