Gene, thanks for the update. One can eat an elephant one bite at a time and one can overcome the fault with your tractor. It just takes persistance and some effort. Will you look at BobMs schematic and verify that the 12 volt conversion is exactly as drawn. I am wanting to know how and what resistor is used and how the resistor is located in relation to the coil + and - terminal. Weak fire to the plugs could cause the symptoms and I admit that I am somewhat blindly searching for a solution but we can find one.
