My wife and I grew up nearby when we kids and when she was about 14 her 2 front teeth became absessed and this was back in the 1940's and they pulled them. She wore a partial for years until we went to a young dentist and told her he could install a permanent bridge since her other teeth were perfect. So she had it done. She will be 82 tomorrow.
