We had the same bracket on both an H and M. We had trip plows years ago that would unlatch from the drawbar ring bracket. We (and a lot of others) used 3/8 rod with a hand hold on one end and a hokk on the other end. Once plow triped on a large rock you could back up to plow and reach down with your hook and get the plow drawbar and lift it up and place it back down on the ring. Back the plow back a little and get around the rock and keep going. If you had a rocky field it would wear you out getting on and off the tractor to hook up a plow, this way you never left the seat. Hooks were about 4" long
