My Radiator has a little history , It was leaking at the mounting studs . One of the the radiator shop made a 1/8 " thick plate and soldered that over the hole . The other one the stud and hole was good , So that stud was soldered solid . You cant take the tank apart without needing a new core . Thats why we went the cheap way . I put two 1/8" thick neoprene/cloth rubber and one 1/8" thick for the side with the plate . Seems fine for the steering shaft . Was a pain putting those in soldered like that ... Hope it holds . Maby this will save someone getting a new core ...
