Brake rod slot is just part of the problem. The dowels will be in the wrong place. The attaching bolts are not in symmetrical positions. Oil filler/level holes are in the wrong place. Probably other problems I'm not even thinking of right now.
Best answer is to sell it and buy a Farmall. Even if one sold low and bought high it would probably still take less out of pocket than buying everyhting it takes to convert one.
