Went to my neice's house for her son's 3rd birthday party last Saturday. Cake and ice cream is always good but tractor rides are better!

It was a beautiful day, sunny and no wind. Spring is finally here. I had asked about a problem in the past with my B Farmall missing under load. It was recommended I change the plugs out with Autolite 3116's. I had Champion plugs in it, she fired right up but after a short spin it was evident the motor was still missing under load. I swapped the plugs and it was like night and day. Ran purr-fectly!

So it was time for everyone to go for a tractor ride. My wife did the picture taking. Tractors make everyone smile!

My son Ryan got the first trip down the road.

The youngest boy Elliot got to sit on the seat with Dad but didn't go anywhere. That was good enough for him.

My oldest neice Kassandra was there also. She hadn't completely forgotten how to drive something with a clutch but had to be reminded, LOL.

We about wore out the circle drive but it was fun. Looks like I have a little leak on the oil pan. I didn't want to tighten it up too much but I guess it needs a little more. Fun to get the B out and everyone enjoyed the day!

Today's Featured Article - An AC Model M Crawler - by Anthony West. Neil Atkins is a man in his late thirties, a mild and patient character who talks fondly of his farming heritage. He farms around a hundred and fifty acres of arable land, in a village called Southam, located just outside Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. The soil is a rich dark brown and is well looked after. unlike some areas in the midlands it is also fairly flat, broken only by hedgerows and the occasional valley and brook. A copse of wildbreaking silver birch and oak trees surround the top si ... [Read Article]
