I always run an over-run coupler, they"re only $50 or so. I would not do without a 3-point, it is the handiest thing. The H will handle a 5" mower easily. I do recommend you set the rear end of the Hog up in the air on the rear wheel, for two reasons; first, the cuttings can shoot out the back easy, second the H only has to lift the front end of the mower, lots less wear and tear on the Lift-All pump.
