One thing I would look for is whether the Ensign regulator/vaporizor works, that is, if the engine runs normally. I have an Ensign that came on my 450 and had to use an aftermarket Reg/vap unit for the time being, there is a guy in Oklahoma that sells kits for them, but other than that, parts are very scarce for the Ensign units. Also, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get you a spray bottle and mix up some water with a little detergent to check for leaking valves on the tank, they are still available but can be annoying when you are ready to fill the tank but can't because of leakage.
