Hi George,6 gallons of 80w90 gear oil for the trans. the pto shaft is allways in this gear oil. maybe you mean the belt pulley housing. it uses the same also by a splashing affect , but if you drain in just add about a half quart. a hint , when you pull the plug to drain old gear lube have 2 5gallon pales ready because it might have a lot of water in their.
