Two parts basically. The countershaft seal and a housing gasket. While you have it out, look at the counter shaft seal on the transmission to see if it is leaking. Usually if one leaks, the other one leaks also. Also look farther up so see if the drive shaft seal is leaking.
Get help taking it out. It weighs right at 100 pounds.
