You have to change the plungers in the injection pump on the 4 cylinders that do not fire at idle. I suppose you could do it without removing the pump but it will be frowned upon by diesel shops. Getting the pump out is a big job, the easiest is to wait untill those turbos blow you crank out and then do it all at once.
