I recently acquired an IH H tractor built in 1949. The tractor was originally equipped with lights and starter. Even though the tractor had not run for three years, I had the starter rebuilt and the tractor started immediately. I am now in the process of slowly restoring the tractor. However, the oblong shaped instrument panel that attached to the steering post was missing. I resently purchased a used instrument panel (off an M - I don't know the year)that included the ammeter, light swith and a fuse. Can someone tell me how to wire this unit? At this point, I would like to keep the tractor original with the 6V system. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
