Part was taken over by the Ky Air National Guard but it was also leveled in later years. They use to fly fighters and they fit in rather well, but the C-130's they have now didn't so enter the wrecking ball. I am typing this from work which is less than 4mi from the site of the old plant. My father also use to work there.
