I owned one for many years(1959,diesel)and pulled a three pottom plow with no trouble. I didn`t baby this tractor, just used it for what it was built for. That engine did start hard in colder weather, but I did have a block heater so it helped. I was told that some of the farmall 400 rear end parts would interchange(bull gears)maybe axles. My 2 cents
