While you have the finals and diff shafts off then it would be time to remove the tranny.When you slide it apart you will see the u-joint with tapered bolts remove themthen the tranny is free. Probably the only bearing that needs replacing is the input bearing on the front along with the seal. I asume you are replacing all seals and then new brake bamds also.
