IH 560 D

I am thinking of trading the 300 off on a 560 D. What are the diesels like on those old tractors? I am a little scared of them, are they dependable? Do they last? It would have a easy life, 14' disc, haybine, hauling wagons, loader work, and general yard work. Are they tough starters? We have a 756D with the german diesel, and that is tough in the winter. Any information would be great. Thanks
