Even with a new head gasket it could be bad. The rebuilt head may have been magna fluxed and not pressure tested and could be cracked. The block maybe cracked up front (they like to do that) resulting in pressure in the radiator. Do you have a lot of bubbles on the radiator or was it filled to the neck and the engine is trying to push some out the overflow to find its happy level of coolant. I would have the head pressure checked, the blocked checked and start over. My 2cents.
