Is this to be a working restoration? Mine is not so much restoration as getting it to do what I want, the paint will come later. Gotta do the clutch first as I want to tow a 40 foot wide harrow this spring. Dads 544u would pull it and it has about the same weight and hp, its proablem is it does not transfer weight to the rear axle well so the tires spin, that and 4 gear on it is 12 mph while the 460 is 9 mph, a better match.
with old gas mine dynoed at 47 hp, plan to get it checked again this winter.
