Seal in the pump has failed, need to rebuild the pump with a new seal, just did that on my 100. I ended up getting the parts from Hoober, in PA. Not too bad a job, but will lead to cleaning the screen in the touch control unit and , new gaskets on the supply and return pipes. Just make sure everything is squeaky clean, and pay attention when the pump comes apart so you can put the pieces back the right way. My shaft was worn pretty good, but the new seal seated on a good part of the shaft. Good luck.
