Both the IHC Farmall and International model 240's do not utilize a normal battery box. They only have a cover on the top which is next to impossible to locate (at least an original factory one) with a couple of angle pieces attached to the transmission that the battery sets on. The battery is secured in place with two long carriage bolts (one on each side of the battery) running vertically from the angle brackets and secured to the original factory cover to hold the battery in place. The steering wheel center cap is available from several sources as it was common to several IHC model tractors. I will leave the paint codes for the tractor to others as the correct paint is no longer available from the CaseIH dealerships. Wishing you well with your restoration efforts and your part searches as it will be a challenge as they both had relative small production quantities for an IHC tractor and few if any 240 unique parts are being reproduced to my knowledge, Hal.
