I have an IH C. It had a 59 mower and it stuck out to the right. The left wheel ran over grass the mower didn't mow yet, so you had to learn to mow so the left wheel was running over already cut grass.
I found a 72 inch woods off an IH H. Put it on my C. It too was off set to the right and wouldn't fit on my small trailer, so I worked on centering the mower by making spacers to off set the idler pulleys.
Go figure, woods wanted their mowers off set to the right.
I spent last fall modifing my woods to act like a finish mover by putting metal 1 inch from the blades. This way the grass goes in a circle and over to the next blade, finally going out the side instead of the back and both sides. George
