That is definitely a Torque Amplifier lever. BTW, torque amplifier is a two-speed "powershift" that gives you two speeds for each gear.
The reverser lever is a simple rod with a ball on top IIRC. It goes "over center" for forward or reverse.

If you are really antsy about it, make sure you are in an open area when you start playing, and make sure you know how to shut the tractor off with the key to make it stop if things get out of hand.
