If you pull the cover off of the top of the TA housing you can start the tractor and watch wats going on. You can then move the torque lever back and forth and you should be able to see why the noise is their. You can put the two springs in without splitting the tractor but it is difficult. If it is the springs broke or missing I can walk you through it.
