must be the cycs we used a loader on the M for years and never had aany problems try lifting good packed straw and hay manure from 1300 steers walking onit wanted all the stuff we could get cleaned the barns out twice a winter as long a the B could pull the 12a new idea spreader thru the snow but never did have any problems with the cycs maybe your bucket is to wide that makes a big diff the oil is going to the path of least resistance this is why the new loaders have a welded frame assy so theat the frame assy is rigid and one cycl will in effect raise the whole assy bet that is your problem try a blade on the front to push the snow it works better but i would bet that the old horn is of the old design verry easy for them to twist when a wide bucket is used the super-six was the only old time loader that didnt twist they had a verry neat way they built the front part as the load went higher the bucket stayed llevel this loader was also made for M-H hope this clears up some of your questions glad to help
