Don't laugh. Go to an old drugstore and ask for a product called water glass. It comes in about a quart jar. Costs about $30.00. I have used it in diesels with some good leaks it will seal them up for about 2 years. Most chain stores won't know what you are talking about. Why it is in drugstores is beyond me. I called an old store locally and asked for it and it was in stock. The same jar was there when the present owners bought it. I asked the owner what use they sold it for and he told me that was the first jar they had ever sold. He didn't know what it was used for until I called him.
