Well if you only use the tractor for shot periods or it sets out then you will always have a problem.keeping the filter changed helps some . Keeping the oil changed like your supposed to help. Tractors that set have more problems with this then ones that get worked hard . When a tractor sets for long periods condensation build up inside and if you crack the drain plugs you can drain off SOME of the moisture before starting . We do this on the tractors we do not use during the winter months in the spring when we wake them up and i have drained off more then a gallon of water from them when that sat in the barn all winter with out being used. This spring i got about a half gallon out of the 806 before we started it fro the first time and had to change the hyd. filter three times to get the water out of her and with it getting pressed into heavy tillage pulling five bottoms to finish up the plowing and pulling the 18 foot disc over all the corn ground twice that cooked out the rest. Today i am going to change the hyd. filter again just to make sure .
