Hytran already has additives in it to hold any moisture in suspension. All adding isopropyl alcohol to the transmission will do is make the isopropyl alcohol manufacturer rich.
IMHO you can keep 90-95% of the moisture out by simply keeping the tractor inside when you're not using it. We've got tractors that haven't had their hydraulic oil changed in 20-30 years and there is no sign of major moisture contamination in the transmission or hydraulic oil. All we've ever done is park the tractors inside at the end of the day and only run them in the rain when absolutely necessary.
This is in Western NY state, plenty of humidity, plenty of wild temperature swings, plenty of rain and snow...

If your tractor is going to be stored for any length of time, a few precautionary measures are helpful in preserving various parts, also in avoiding future difficulty. Store tractor under cover.
