If row width is the problem, I would suggest going to an adjustable wide front end. You can change the track width of the tires and it will feel more stable than a single. My M has a single on it just for the heck of it, but it gets a little scary on corners at road speed. Mine was given to my grandfather by a friend. He also bought one (turned out to fit an H) for about $100 from a guy at Old Threshers.
