Hi, back again. Still having hydraulic issues with my IH 684. Power steering fails occasionally but comes back almost straight away & rest of hydraulics (loader & 3pt linkage) works fine one minute then jumpy as if air locked the next. When all is working OK there's plenty of power, lifting 2 bags full of horse muck effortlessly, and the 3 pt auto hitch picks up a 3 ton trailer and the remote tips it with no problem, but then without warning the powers gone and the loader struggles to raise itself with no load on!!! I guess I need to change the hydraulic oil and filter and start from there. Does anyone know the recommended oil type/viscosity (I have no service manual). Also the park brake does not work, what sort of a job is it to replace the band and where would be the best (cheapest) place to get one (UK). Also where should the level be on the hydraulic oil dipstick, there's about 1/2" oil on the bottom of the stick, but I can't see a top mark. Thanks in advance for any help.

"Run in the house and get me a...."as I open th
