My i add that that splitting the four head lite system take a heck of a load off the light switch . I do this as most of the guys around here all want more then one rear work light and even a stock system with just five lights total seem to eat light switches . Myself i do away with the fuse and install self resetting breakers . I then split off the WORK lights into a separate system and install a second 20-30 amp breaker and a CV relay and use the WORK light wire from the head light switch to TRIGGER the relay . That system get's it's power off the hot post on the Solenoid to the extra breaker and that feeds the CV relay . Since most of the guys work away from the farm during the day there is a lot of MIDNIGHT oil burnt and i have replaced a ton of head light switches . Nothing worse then being MILES away from home or your truck at midnight or after and have a fuse blow and stumbling around in the dark in plowed ground trying to get to the tool box to look for a box of fuses and burning your fingers changing them or have a head light switch burn up around the same time .
