John,I have never done any internal adjusting nor do I think there is any on a Regular, but I could be wrong. There is however a speed changing device located on the back of the govornor that allows the engine to run from 1125 RPM to 1325 RPM. turn the block to the right to increase and to the left to decrease RPM. I have a buzz saw that I sometimes run on my Regular, I have found that running it at 1125 RPM works best for mine. If I try backing the throttle off the belt starts to wander and eventually falls off, any higher and the blade starts to distort when cutting (which scares me to death) I wish I could give you a exact RPM but theres to many different circumstances out there. I would just carfuly play with it. your RPM will very while your cutting but it shouldent be a drastic change. I hope I've helped and be carfull while sawing. Daniel M.
