My Dad bought our 400 in 57or 58 it had a Marbeet 1 row beet digger on it, we did our own beets and did some custom work intill 68, took the Marbeet off and put a single front end and culvater bars on and got into dry beans, doing 2 to 300 ac's a year with it. It's been a good machine although we have overhauled the moter the ta, and put 1 ring and pinion in it, but not bad for a 43 yr old tractor. A few years ago I put a heavy duty 3 pt on it and now use it in row crops pulling a sled planter and 6 row bedder, and a 10 ft fail mower,finally had to weight the front end to keep it on the ground till now that was the only tractor that we had that never got lite in the front end.I would'nt trade it for anything else from that time period.
