If the area was logged over you are going to be up against roots. A trailer plow will grab hold of every one it finds and either unhook, kick back the points, plug up or simply stop you dead in your tracks. An 8 foot rigid(non hydraulic, disk would be the best choice. Be careful with the H because it is light in the front end and can lift up quickly if you hook onto something.
