3/4" diameter, hex head bolts will work just fine. My book shows 4 3/4" for the first set, and 3 3/4" for the second set, but you will not find that length at your local hardware store, you will need to visit a farm machinery dealer. If you are installing 2 sets of weights, both sets are to be installed using the same 4 bolts.
You might find 4" and 5" bolts at the hardware store, but the shank (unthreaded part) will be too long.
