Posted July 18th regarding a problem with a 1975 IH Cub. Could not get spark all the way to the plugs. Had new ignition switch, new coil, new points, condenser, rotor and some new wires.
You all responded with great detail of what I needed to look for. Did most of what you all told me and I was able to trace the problem. The piece of "metal" or "tin" of the points that goes on the connection inside the distributor which goes to the coil, was making "ground". It was hard to see, but once I took off the distributor again and moved things around, it worked.
Thanks for your quick, helpful, informative response. David
