Thanks Jim, I was having trouble with the running of the Cub, isolated it down to the magneto (or spark issues) I've cleaned the points and put in a replacement condenser, and noted that the impulse could do with a bit of work. It's quite grotty inside too, so I thought I'd like to give it a service and possibly bearings etc. I don't like to shop things out unless it is absolutely necessary, and given that a magneto is mostly a mechanical machine, I reckon I could do the work with a bit of guidance. Magneto repair places are few and far between down this way too, so I'll see how I go. I'll check out the link, thanks. Rex
