When I was a kid Dad run LP conversion tractors with the gas "bottle" mounted in front of the tractor. They pulled gas, not liquid LP, off the top of the bottle. If one run out of gas not too far from home, he could pee on the tank and that would seem to raise the pressure in the tank just enough to make it home.
