Jason, did a 6 to 12 conversion on a SMTA a while back. Used the stock generator bracket upside down (prongs point up) drilled front hole to 3/8 inch, used a 35 inch belt and worked fine. On my SMTA there was a flat spot on the front of the upper thermostat housing. I drilled and taped that spot for 5/16 inch bolt and used the original adjuster bracket, enlarging the outer hole. Fits good under the hood on the right side.
