I use a couple of sizes of jack stands and never use concrete blocks or wood as the main support. I do sometimes use 4" wooden blocks under the jack stand to get more height. Take the rim and tire off first. The cast center I hook a chain to a cherry picker because it weighs more than I can handle. I once had my Super A completely disassembled, nothing but a "neat" pile of parts, doubt if I do that again.
