SDE, As others said, the F20 did not come with a muffler, just the exhaust elbow. But you could get a muffler from IH that fit the F20 some time later. My dad had one on our F20 and when I painted it in 1970, I was still able to purchase a new one from IH. Picture shows the muffler you could get from IH. As you can see, the 3-bolt exhaust pipe extension is higher than the hood. I still have the F20 but had to put a new gas manifold on it a few years ago. I had to make an adapter to make this muffler fit on the new manifold as the exhaust pipe was smaller. Al
